“Honey Trap” in Crow & Cross Keys

"Crow & Cross Keys: Honey Trap. Maddie Bowen-Smyth". Over a greyscale photograph of a woman's cheek and lips, one hand raised by her face. A bee is crawling on her lower lip.

My short story “Honey Trap” has been published with Crow & Cross Keys, a free-to-read online literary journal.

I was touched by the editor’s words at publication time:

“Our Saturday offering is longer than our usual, and we think it’s just brilliant.

[…] When we read this story we wanted more. We weren’t ready to leave it behind, and luckily @calliopium was willing to extend it for us!

We hope you adore it as much as we do.”
