    Two Poems Out

    Two Poems Out

Can you believe that June is already over? I’ve had two new publications this month, both released online.

My sonnet “Vaticinated” is out now with Boats Against the Current.

Elsewhere, my villanelle “Hope at Its Core” is in the second issue of Amphora Magazine.

    Please give them a read!

    Winter News

I’ve been remiss in not sharing updates for a bit—there were just too many! (Not a bad complaint to have, is it?) Some of this news I’ve mentioned before and some of it is actually new, but let’s get it all in one place.

Newly Accepted — “A Perfectly Worldly Poison” in Oranges Journal

    • Due for publication on the 7th of July. Oranges has a strong mission statement and a focus on empowerment, with a slant towards mental health topics. AND my short story will soon be there!

      • Expected release: 18th June
    • “Hope at Its Core” in Amphora Magazine

    Pre-order “Mind Your Hat”

    Pre-order “Mind Your Hat”

Only a week until the third issue of Wrongdoing Magazine is released, featuring my short story “Mind Your Hat”. I’ve seen the proofs and this is a beautiful volume—and huge at over 300 pages!

The gorgeous print copy is available to pre-order for a limited time (until the 20th of May).

A high-quality PDF will also be made available on the 15th of May at 0.99 CAD.

Register for a pre-order today in time for the grand release! I have also recorded an excerpt from my story…

In other news and following on the heels of my acceptance to Boats Against the Current, I have had another poem accepted for publication! “Hope at Its Core” will be appearing in the upcoming second issue of Amphora Magazine. More details to come.

    Poetry Acceptance

    Poetry Acceptance

Something a bit different—I’ll be seeing my first poem in print* this June thanks to Boats Against the Current! “Vaticinated” is a foray into formal poetry and I am (nervously) looking forward to being able to share it with the world. More updates to come, of course.

Remember to pre-order B O N E M I L K to read my short story “Blister & Blain” (in Volume III and in Mayhem — out soon).

    * NB: I drafted up this blog post before my poem-ish piece “The Language of Flowers—” was accepted and published in The Minison Zine! I’m still going to count “Vaticinated” as my first formal poem in print. Or maybe my first poem accepted to print. Or should I call the floriographical piece something other than a poem?
